- Solang Valley at north end of Manali (only 5 km from our campsite) is one of the most popular tourist destinations of Manali.
- Solang is a hub of adventure activities such as paragliding, zorbing, quad biking, etc. Also, there is a ropeway to take you to Fatru Mountain Top from where a panaromic view of the entire valley can be seen.
- At about 45 minutes of hike from Solang is the abode of Anjani Mahadev.
- A fresh water spring fall creates an ice Shivalinga (like Amarnath in Kashmir) in the winter months which can be seen until early spring, with scenic natural beauty all around.

- Gulaba Meadows is located on the way to Rohtang Pass. It is a magical natural world where the changing seasons transform the landscape in vibrant show of colours.
- The lush green meadows are fringed by cedar, oak and maple trees.
- Alpine flowers burst from every corner of the meadows from end of June to mid-September. From June to October, these meadows are grasslands, and in the early months of summer they remain under snow thus giving you an opportunity to trek on snow.
